Often people are surprised to learn that Kidology.org is a non-profit organization. Many of our newer customers don’t realize we are in our 20th year of ministry and were one of the first children’s ministry websites on the Internet, and were the first membership site on the Internet. Before ebay, Paypal, Amazon, YouTube and even Google, Kidology was already equipping and encouraging those who minister to children.
While we are supported by subscriptions to our website and sales in our online store (the first kidmin store to accept credit cards) we still give away free memberships almost daily and give away resources all over the world constantly.
There are now a lot of sites for children’s ministry and new places to buy stuff pop up all the time, but when you shop on Kidology, you are helping a non-profit make a real difference in kids ministries globally.
Just this month we offered a fun contest on our Facebook Wall for folks to “like” our Kidology Page and share it for a chance at winning $300 in Kidology downloadable resources. We prayed the winner would be someone who really needed these tools. And as God seems to always do – He sovereignly chose just right winner! (We use random.org to choose our winners for accountability.)
Allow me to share a note from our winner – as it reflects so well the heart beat of Kidology to Equip and Encourage those who are ministering to kids all over the globe:
“You can’t imagine how much of a blessing it is for me to be able to receive all these resources through the Kidology FB contest! A huge “thank you” to Karl & the Kidology team for giving so generously to Kidmin ministries everywhere over so many years. I’ve been a Kidology fan & supporter in prayer for over 15 years and, as a missionary to French-speaking countries, I’ve been a recipient of Kidology premium member scholarships for a few years. I’ve been blown-away on more than one occasion by the serving & giving spirit of this ministry. Thank you, Lord, for Kidology!”
If you didn’t know, a portion of every Premium Membership goes into the Kidology Foundation to help other non-profits and kids ministry leaders like Denise.
If you aren’t a member, join today! And the next time you need some kidmin tools, let me invite you to shop our store. We represent over 100 children’s ministry resource providers and because we are a non-profit, we have discounts for members on nearly everything that our vendors offer to support what we do.
See you soon on Kidology.org!
