Your Turn to Chime In!

Welcome to the 3rd Kidology Home Page Update!  This week, I’d like to encourage you to check out the brand new Kidology Surveys. This is YOUR PLACE to voice your opinion as well as see what others are thinking on various topics in children’s ministry. We’d love for leaders to weigh in the Children’s Ministry Leader Survey, or if you are a volunteer, drop into the CM Volunteer/Worker’s Survey.  I would especially appreciate your feedback on Kidology.org in the How I Use Kidology.org survey, and you’ll notice the results can only be seen by our staff, so you can feel free to be honest. (but be nice too!) We also plan to have some fun surveys as well, such as the current In a Pinch! survey that is just about your favorite “last minute” teaching technique. So just over to SURVEYS now and add your input. AND, if you have a suggestion for a survey, let me know! If you missed the past updates, you can check them out on the Archive, or visit either directly: You Make Our Day All New Kidology.org Launches

You Make Our Day

When I read the testimonial to the right recently, it made my day! Just imaging a bunch of kids in South Africa having a “water war” because of a post I wrote nearly ten years ago brought a huge smile to my face. I probably spend more time on the Testimonial Page than most. Whenever I get overwhelmed by the things to do, the emails to answer, the projects to work on or the deadlines that keep getting pushed back, all I need is a few minutes being reminded that not only is what I do today making a difference, but what I did years ago is still making a difference today. And it’s not just me, it’s YOU TOO! When you take time to SUBMIT AN IDEA to Kidology.org, you are not only helping Leon in South Africa and Barb in Japan, but Katie in Alaska, Joanne in Brazil, and Chikondi in Malawi! Not to mention…

ALL NEW Kidology.org LAUNCHES

Welcome to the first Kidology Update here on my blog. With the launch of the new Kidology.org, I now have a Kidology Update section right on the homepage of Kidology.org. These weekly updates will appear both here on my blog under the Kidology Update category as well as on the home page of Kidology.org. This way, they are archived here on my blog in addition to providing a way to comment on them. I am excited to be able to have some space on Kidology’s home page to provide a “personal touch” from me – something folks have asked for as Kidology has grown. Just wanted to explain the Kidology Update to my blog readers. Now on to the first Kidology Update: We are excited to finally launch our brand new Kidology.org website! In addition to an exciting new look, we have made the home page more powerful than ever before! You can now see quickly what is new in our idea-packed Zones, in the Forum, Job Center, Resource Directory, Garage Sale, Store, and more! Whereas in the past you needed to scroll down the entire homepage to see all the news items, they now are available at the top…
