Glad I clicked my way to kidologist. What a neat site. My name is Chanda White, and I am the part time children’s minister at Bethel United Methodist Church in Stockbridge, GA. I am in my first year of paid service, but I have been the volunteer Sunday School Superintendent, a Sunday School teacher, and Children and Youth Minister at two other UMC in my area. My day job is parent education. My career choice is social work ( BSW degree from Ga State University).
I am looking forwarding to clicking away even more. Thanks for the information, resources, and community of believers collected here on your site.

Hey Karl, my name is Peter and I started following you on twitter a couple of months ago and joined Kidiology a couple of days ago.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in elementary education in 2009, then served as an intern at a church in Lake Tahoe CA, and have been working as a part time Kidmin at a church South of Atlanta GA for about two years. My name is Nicole, and I live in the Deep South with my hubby and 4 kiddos. My husband and I have been in children’s ministry for nearly 3 years (not nearly as long as some), and we LOVE what we do!! Besides teaching kids at our church, we have a desire to help smaller churches as they start a new children’s ministry from scratch or as they try to build up a very small children’s ministry. Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much I LOVE the DiscipleTown curriculum. We just began a new ministry here in Florida and chose “How to Use My Bible” as our first series. The content is great, the activities are engaging, and two of the best parts are the Table Talker & Parent Email. Great Job on the whole package!

I am a Children’s Ministry Director and have been on staff for 7 years. I have been following you for about 4 years through emails and kidology which I love and use a lot to get ideas to supplement my lessons. I don’t facebook, I don’t blog, I am not very tech savvy. But I have started with twitter and I enjoy following several other Children’s pastors, pastors, and authors. I don’t twitter much because I don’t have to many followers to read them and I choose who will read them. I have been married to the same wonderful guy for 30 some years we have three adult children and our forth grandchild is on the way! Kids are great!

My name is Erica and I am a student. I met you at the magic show you did at my church in November of 2010. I was working as a prayer counselor that night.
I have been playing the guitar for two years and God has given me a talent for it. I play in the band at church and at school. I also write my own music.
I have been a true Christian for about two years now. And have been trying my best to live my life for Him.
I love working with kids and want to do something, on the side, with them when I graduate college.
I am currently studying to go into mechanics or something of the sort. I like working with my hands

Hi Karl,
I am Barbara from Yucaipa CA and have been working in our church for many years, 12 years on paid staff as the children’s director. Tonight I have the sad task of telling two boys they may not come back to wednesday night program for two weeks. (They are violent) They may come back but if they hurt someone again, the length of time they must not come will be extended. Today I listened to the CPC message on making dicipline problems disappear hoping it might help me. I did not find an answer there for these two boys, but I was reassured because I have been ‘molding instead of scolding’ for 6 years and although there was change for a while, as they age, they are succumbing to their environment. They come from tough backgrounds in a tough neighborhood and I only influence them for 1.5 hrs a week while their neighborhood gets them the rest of the time. I believe seeds have been planted in their lives that the Holy Spirit will bring to fruition in His timeing. I was hoping you might be willing to send me the printed notes that would go along with the disipline teaching because I would like to use it with my workers for training. The philosophy that I have followed is clearly defined by you in that teaching and will help the workers. I think the notes would help them to stay on track while you are speaking since listening to a mp3 play is a little tedious. If you still have the notes on your computer and would be willing to send them, it would be greatly appreciated. In His Hands, Barbara blookerse@fbcy.org
