A Dad’s Gotta Do What a Dad’s Gotta Do!

Sometimes a dad’s just gotta do, what a dad’s gotta do! Recently Children’s Pastor Mark Jones, of mrmarksclassroom.com sent me a copy of his new book, A Dad’s Gotta Do What a Dad’s Gotta Do. It looked so fun, I immediately sat down and read it to my son. I had no idea what it would be about, and was pleasantly surprised to discover just how much it would mirror my daily life with my own son. I don’t want to spoil the story too much – but it basicly is about a way a dad made his son feel loved one day on the way to school. We enjoyed it so much, we immediately made a “thank you” video for Mr. Mark and posted it to YouTube: Then I asked if we could sell his book on Kidology so we could help get his book into the hands for more dads! He enthusiastically said, “Yes!” So pick up your copy ASAP!

The Gospel Rubix Cube!

I have a new Gospel Tool that kids will enjoy! It all started because the stickers on my Rubix Revenge (4×4) were getting worn and peeling off: So peeled them all off! Well, all but one… 95 stickers later, I was ready to prep the cube for some renewed life: Now it was ready for NEW stickers, courtesy of CubeSmith.com: Since the Wordless Book only has 5 colors, I added orange…“Orange you glad Jesus came?” Putting the new stickers on wasn’t that hard, and it’s great that Cube Smith gives you two sets for the few that you’ll put on crooked and once peeled off, won’t be smooth, so you can just add another. Once it was done, I made a YouTube video to demonstrate: What creative means have you come up with lately for sharing the Good News with others?

Kidology Coaching Saves CP from Trash Compactor!

It is always a delight to share with you the thank you notes I get from our Kidology Coaching graduates. (Always reprinted with permission – they desire others to know how the Kidology Coaching has changed there life.) This letter comes from Amy Hardeman, and it is our hope it will encourage those of you who may feel like the sides are closing in on them! Dear Karl, Thank you so much for establishing and investing in the Kidology Coaching program.  For several years I had been a silent snoop on the Kidology website.  A year or so after adopting a newborn from foster care, I will still feeling so overloaded with life and ministry and was having a hard time balancing it all.  Before a baby, I had somehow managed to do it all, relying heavily on myself.  One day when listening to a KidMin Talk podcast I started to consider the coaching program. When I first took the plunge and decided to sign up I was feeling a lot like Princess Leia and her Star Wars in the trash compactor scene. From event to event, ministry crisis to crisis, it always seemed like the walls were about to…
