The Nativity Challenge Game!

I’ve created a BRAND NEW Christmas Game! Time for another interactive game that helps teach and review the Christmas Story while getting the kids involved! It’s a game show! It’s review! It’s FUN! It’s the Nativity Challenge! Your kids will compete to complete a Nativity Scene by doing various fun interactive challenges! Gingerbread House Family Event Kit!

Host a Family Gingerbread House Building event. Everything you need is here! Our annual Family Gingerbread House Building has become a much-anticipated family event at our church! We charge a nominal fee to cover supplies and to ensure that we are prepared for each family that comes. Jesus is Proof – God Prefers the Unlikely

Have you figured it out yet? I know, you’ve heard it many times. God prefers to use the ordinary. The unexpected. The unknown. The unlikely. Jesus came through an unknown young girl and her husband of unknown heritage. His birth was announced to humble shepherds. There was no room in the Inn so the Son of God was born in a place suitable more for animals than the King of Kings. We know this story. We’ve taught this story. A hundred times in a hundreds ways. But what does this mean for us in Children’s Ministry? It means everything. It’s more than just a story for Christmas time. It reveals how God prefers to get things done. He is a God who’s glory and power and provision is best on display when it is needed most. When we look at our ministries, too often we see how things ought to be. How our staffing ought to be. Our facilities. Our budgets. Our resources. Our…. (dare I say it?) appreciation for all that we do for the children. Help Your Kids Honor Jesus This Christmas

Last Christmas I learned about a new tool for helping my family focus on Jesus from Thanksgiving all the way to Christmas – and it is VERY cool! It is called Cradle for the King – and the concept is simple. As your family notices the fruit of the Spirit in each other, the manger is created and prepared for Jesus at Christmas. STARTING AT THANKSGIVING is ideal, but you can start any time before Christmas to get the focus of the season where it belongs – on Jesus and the impact He should be having on our lives. Through the book included in the set, children witness a family who joyfully exhibits the spiritual gifts in Galatians chapter five and “prepare the way” for Jesus who finally appears in the cradle on Christmas morning.
